The Sky Sox changed affiliates from the Rockies to the Brewers in the offseason. While many fans in the Colorado Springs don't like the idea of losing the connection, I'm happier than Bernie on his slide.
And then the opening weekend hits. After a win Thursday, the Sox proceeded to give up a combined 33 runs in the remaining three games, dropping all of them. The only positive of the Sunday 16-11 disaster? Watching the scoreboard as the Albuquerque Isotopes (Rockies new affiliate) lose 16-10 as well.
